CHAPTER FIVE

Tara knew it was only a matter of time before her boyfriend found out but she hoped to prolong that moment as long as she could. Mrs. Padalecki certainly hadn’t seen them do anything and she’d only deny it. The only way anyone would find out was if Craig or his boyfriend said anything and she just didn’t see that happening. They both seemed so private. She should have known better to shit where she ate, she thought as she sat on her couch. She stroked Pepper, deep in thought. She’d done whatever she could to avoid Craig completely, including getting up at the crack of dawn to walk Pepper long before anyone was awake in the neighborhood. It was the least she could do to avoid an incredibly uncomfortable position.

She felt a little guilty, yes, but not as much as she thought she would. Roger had paid little to no interest in her for months and she had a right, as a woman, to be pleased. In the short time she’d known Craig he’d made her feel alive, needed, desired and cared for in ways that Roger never could or would.

Besides, God only knew what Roger might have been doing on the side. She’d ignored the lipstick she’d found on his collar so many times but now as she thought about it, he was probably getting his, so why couldn’t she get hers?

What she really felt bad about was possibly ruining Craig’s relationship with his boyfriend. Yes, it took two to tango but that excuse didn’t wipe away her guilt, not even a little bit. She wondered what Craig was thinking right now and if she ever crossed his mind as the days passed.

Mrs. Padalecki mentioned the other day that Craig had asked about her and that did give Tara a little smile. But she knew it was best to just let the whole situation go. It was one evening when Roger said that he had a late night meeting that she found an envelope slipped under her door.

She opened it, wondering if it was some bill at first that Mrs. Padalecki had somehow delivered. But when she opened it, she discovered it was anything but.

“Meet me at my place tonight -- Craig” it said and she pressed it against her chest, first smelling its scent; it smelled just like Craig. Her heart raced. She knew she shouldn’t do it but she soon found herself racing down the steps and out the front gate. What was she thinking? She’d just tell him face to face that whatever it was that they had was over. That’s what she told herself but Tara knew she was lying. The truth was, she’d missed Craig and she needed to see him again. The way he’d made her feel, so strong, so protected, so needed. She wanted to feel his thick dick inside her. She longed for his kisses and his touch.

But she’d stay strong, she told herself. She needed to. She raised her hand and knocked on the door, quickly, before she could change her mind.
